According to an annual report on Thursday, Apple beats Google to become the world’s top brand.in 2018. Facebook slips to 9th positions for its data branch controversy.
Apple brand value rise 16% (year-on-year) to $214.5 billion. It is the first US company that hits $1 trillion market value.
Apple increases its market value for its new launching product iPhone XS, XS Max and XR.

Interbrand, a global brand consultancy said that Amazon achieved 56% growth and become the third top brand in the world.
Microsoft was in fourth positions with the market value of $92.7 billion. Coca-Cola was ranked in fifth positions with the market value of $66.3 billion. Samsung comes on the Sixth spot.
Facebook brand value downs 6% in this year for the Cambridge Analytica data scandal.
Charles Trevail, Global Cheif Executive Of Interbrand said “A decade after the global financial crisis, the brands that are growing fastest are those that intuitively understand their customers and make the brave iconic moves that delight and deliver in new ways”
Spotify and Subaru brands are ranked in the “Best 100 Global Brands 2018” for the first time.
In 2017, Telsa ranked into the top 100 brands, but they lose their ranking in 2018 for some controversy around the brands and its future.
Mike Rocha, Global Managing director at Interbrand Economies quoted “At the same time, it is tapping into the desire for useful apps and services, with sales from its services division growing 23% to $30 billion in 2017 fiscal year”
