Realme is going to launch its next new smartphone series in China on August 3. The company will introduce Realme V5 with a new camera design. It is also confirmed that this phone will come with 5G support. This device is the first smartphone under the new V series.
In a Weibo post, the company announced that it will launch V5 on August 3 in China. A new teaser of Realme V5 showed that it has an L-shaped quad-camera setup at the back that looks like the ones seen on Samsung Galaxy M-series smartphone. There is a fingerprint sensor on the power button of the device.
As per the TENAA listing, there will be a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and two 2MP sensors. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera.
As per the online listing, Realme V5 will feature with a 6.5-inch full HD+ display with 1080 X 2400 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. There is a punch hole set up on the display. This device will be powered by the Octa-Core Media Tek Dimensity 720 SoC, paired with 6GB & 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. It will run on the Android 10 operating system. It is said that this could pack with a 5000mAH battery with 30W fast charging. And the phone will be available in three distinct color options including Silver, Blue & Green.
Realme will launch this device via an event at 2 PM Beijing time on August 3. Although Realme started the Pre-Booking of V5 through China’s TMall.
